Python Code Snippets

Last update on Oct. 27, 2012.

Rather than keeping it to myself, I'm making public all the little python snippets I create on my GitHub pages. Especially all the things I tend to create over and over because I can't remember on what project I created them last.

Also, I think I'm "pretty good" at Python and coding in general – I have no concern putting "expert" next to Python on a resumé even if it risks Guido or someone of that stature giving an interview – but I'm by no means the last authority. If you see something in my code that could be improved, using a neat python feature I've overlooked* or a better pattern, etc, please let me know! If it's using a very new Python feature, I'll happily put in a version check, too.

If I add anything significant to it, I'll make an announcement to the blog.

* Believe it or not, I had no idea about enumerate() for the longest time
